Radishes belong to the Brassicaceae family, and the Raphanus genus. Its botanical characteristics are:

• An annual plant, it can be round, oval or elongated and varies in hue pink, red, yellow or black.

• Seeds have a 4-year germination capacity.

• Has a mildly pungent flavor.
